On four of five weekends we headed out of Mexico City with Gabo’s van. First trip was a day trip to Huehuetoca, a town situated by the border of Hidalgo. Gabo had lived here for a year, and this was where he had picked up skateboarding.

In the middle of a huge and tranquil suburb there was a skatepark that he used to skate everyday after work. There was not much else to do.
